i don't know if she'll get back to me
i just got done with an interview with a person from volunteer services at gillette. one thing i don't know if i should have done is say that i was looking for a career in a health field because now they may only limit my volunteer opportunities to something you could work as and there probably isn't many opportunities where you can work as a volunteer. i said that because i would prefer to find a career and volunteering could reward me in that way- sort of like "getting my feet wet". i told her that i used to want to be a child psychologist and she ironically wanted to do the same thing when she first started college. there's probably a lot of people that think that they want to be a child psychologist until they actually have children. she was nice though, but i don't know how long it will take her to get back to me. probably longer now that i said that i wanted to find an area for an occupatioon to work in (if ever). all that i can do now is say that i tried by having an interview. she kept bringing up how if i would volunteer as a greeter, i would probably get bored but it would at least be something to do and i wouldn't be stuck just staying in my apartment on the days that i'm not swimming but i don't know if that would limit my chances to walk again. how frustrating, i don't like being bored but then again, i might have to be just to get what i want which is the ability to walk again.
